Brent Start Open Day

Brent Start are holding an Open Day on Thursday 30 June at the Carlton Centre, where anyone can drop in and try a FREE taster session.

Drop in and try:

• tips for CV writing

• do’s and don’ts of job search

• learn to use a tablet

• learn to make an e-card or a poster

• childcare for starting a career in a nursery or school or as a childminder

• pottery

• glass-making

• art

• healthy eating – making delicious, healthy food for you and your family

• English - Improve your letter writing skills

• maths – Improve your number skills

As part of the day, our Brent Works Team will be available to discuss local job and apprenticeship opportunities, help residents start their career and find their next role or the training needed for their next step.
