The volunteers:
Our volunteers make up around 93% of the team! We're a diverse group from different backgrounds, nationalities and ages. We are unified by ours and other peoples recovery!

Radha is a founding member of B3 (2009) and now manages the peer led/volunteer run service. She has lived experience of all the issues surrounding homelessness, addiction, and all that goes with it. Radha is very passionate about empowering service users and enabling them access to opportunities.

Hadil joined our team in 2019 after starting her journey with B3 in 2012 as a service user struggling with her own addiction issues. She completed the Recovery Champions course in 2015 and joined as a volunteer. She is passionate about helping our service users and volunteers to access help and training opportunities to make a positive change.

Yvette started her journey with B3 as a service user seeking help and she completed our Recovery Champions in 2016. She joined our team in 2022 as our Admin and Peer Support Worker eager to help others in the way she was helped during her journey. She is dedicated and passionate about her role and wants to contribute in our volunteers and service users lives.
Jerry came to B3 as a service user struggling with alcohol misuse.
After completing the Recovery Champions course in 2023 he started as a volunteer at BSAFE and is now part of our team! His aim is to maintain the high standard he has found at B3 and to let as many people as possible know about the service. He wants to help others on their path to recovery.
